FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Madison, Wisconsin - 12/1/2015 - Stanley E. Minnick III, local creator of a clean energy card game and children’s book, is partnering with three Wisconsin environmental non-profits and pledging 30% of all sales for the thirty days. These two Wisconsin-made products for kids make learning about clean energy fun and engaging. They make great holiday gifts, and purchases through the end of the year support three environmental organizations. The partnership is with the Sierra Club John Muir Chapter, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) and RENEW Wisconsin.
“By sharing a significant portion of sales with these important organizations I hope to encourage people to support great causes while they shop for the holidays.” Minnick said. “The work that is done by these organizations is essential to the growth of renewable energy, the protection of our natural environment, and the training of clean energy professionals throughout our state.”
Last year, with the help of Kickstarter supporters, Minnick created and released Clean Energy Empire, a card game for kids and adults. Earlier this year “Susie the Solar Salamander, Solar on the Farm”, a children’s book about a salamander who installs solar was released. Both products are produced in Madison, Wisconsin by a local printer.
“As someone fortunate enough to work in the solar industry for may day-job these three organizations have helped me in innumerable ways. Whether someone purchases my products or not these organizations are very worthy of your support.”
